Jaeden goes to school
Jaeden started school this week. I stayed at school with him on the first day, only leaving at 11 am for 1 hour. He did cry, but it was managable according to the teacher. Raymond dropped him on the 2nd day and I did so on the 3rd day. Still some crying but it was OK.
It was a nerve wrecking experience, for both daddy and me. It would be the first time he is left by himself, without any family members around. We were not sure if he is independent enough. He can't really communicate yet, and spoke in baby language that only we can understand. What if he was bullied or he bully others?? What if he hurt himself? There were so many ?? I guessed each parents will go through the same emotional roller coaster experience. The greatest emotion - the realisation that my baby has grown up...and I need to let him go and explore the world.
We decided to send him to school as by next year, MIL may need to look after Kaelyn if the baby sitter decided to quit (baby sitter decided to continue after all, and I only found out on Jaeden's first day to school - a bit late to pull back my decision).
